Memory Bridge: 95% on LongMemEval

Memory Bridge now scores 95% on LongMemEval, one of the most demanding public benchmarks for long-term AI memory.

By the Memory Bridge team · Last reviewed:

That puts us among the highest published results on the benchmark. We didn't treat LongMemEval as a scoreboard. We used it to build the product. Every run showed us where the assistant missed something it should have found. We fixed it, shipped it, and ran the benchmark again.

Key takeaways

  • 95% on LongMemEval. Across all 500 questions, not a sample.
  • Up 5.2 points. From 89.8% to 95% over three releases.
  • Among the top published scores on the benchmark.
  • Live for every subscriber. Each improvement shipped to the product people use every day.

What LongMemEval measures

LongMemEval asks a simple question: can an assistant remember what you told it, weeks and dozens of conversations later?

Each question comes with a long history of past sessions. The answer is buried somewhere inside: a detail mentioned once, a fact that changed over time, or an event where the assistant has to know when it happened. Speed and style don't count. Only one thing does: did the assistant find the right information and use it?

That's the job a memory has to do. What you explain to Claude or ChatGPT today should still be there when you ask next month.

How we tested

  • Every question. All 500, no cherry-picking.
  • The real product. The same search our subscribers use, not a benchmark-only build.
  • One method throughout. Every release was measured the same way, so the gains are real.
  • Competitor scores as published. We didn't run anyone else's system. Each number links to the company's own page.
  • Open to researchers. Full run details and results are available to independent researchers on request.

How we got to 95%

Our first run showed search finding everything an answer needed in 84.5% of questions. It also exposed a problem we hadn't seen: a note that repeated the question's exact words would push ahead of notes that were closer in meaning.

So we rebuilt how keyword search and meaning-based search are combined, giving each a fair vote. Answer accuracy: 89.8%.

Next, we made keyword search weigh each word by how much it matters, instead of matching the sentence as written. Accuracy: 92%.

Then we let the assistant search your memory more widely, so it stops missing things just because they were written in different words. Accuracy: 95%.

Put simply: three focused fixes, each one measured, each one shipped.

Common questions

What does 95% mean?

The assistant answered 95 of every 100 questions correctly. Every question depended on information from long past conversations.

Is Memory Bridge better than the others?

It's among the highest published scores on LongMemEval. Each company runs the test its own way, so small gaps alone don't settle it.

Does it work with both Claude and ChatGPT?

Yes. The memory is shared: what you save from Claude, ChatGPT can find, and the other way round.

Where is my data stored?

On servers in Saudi Arabia.

Does it work in languages other than Arabic?

Yes. It saves and searches in whatever language you write in.

Can I verify the result?

Yes. Full run details and results are available to independent researchers. Reach us through the support page.
