How it works

How Memory Bridge works

You save what matters about your work once, in one place, and every tool you connect reads from it. That is the whole idea. Here are the details.

Three steps to start

  1. 1

    Connect your tool

Pick your tool from the supported list, sign in, and choose which projects it can reach.

  2. 2

    Tell it about your work

Upload past conversations from ChatGPT or Claude, or answer a few short questions about your work and projects.

  3. 3

    Carry on working

From now on your tool finds what your request needs in your memory. You stop re-explaining.

Say it in one tool, find it in the next

What you save in Claude is there for ChatGPT in a brand-new chat, and the other way round.

What gets saved

Your memory is kept as notes inside projects: a decision you made, a price you approved, a term you agreed with a client, the way you like your reports written.

It does not record everything you say. It keeps what you ask it to keep while you work, what you import from past conversations, and what you answer in the setup questions.

Every note carries its source: who wrote it, when, and from which tool.

How it comes back

With each request, your tool searches your memory for what matters to the question. Search works by meaning, so it finds the note even if you wrote it in different words.

The tool then takes what helps and leaves the rest. Your chat is not flooded with everything you ever saved.

What you control

  • You can read every saved note and edit it at any time.
  • Every edit keeps the previous version, and you can go back to it.
  • You decide which projects each tool can reach, and whether it can only read or also write.
  • You can download a copy of a project's notes and keep it.
  • You can disconnect any tool whenever you like. Your memory stays as it is.

What Memory Bridge does not do

It does not train any model on your notes. It does not stop a model from being wrong, so check the answers that matter.

It does not record all your chats automatically. And it is built for personal use today, not for teams.

Common questions

Do I need more than one AI tool?

No. One tool is enough: your memory helps in every new chat there. Add a second tool later and the same memory is waiting.

Does it work on mobile?

It works where your tool works. If the connected tool runs on your phone, your memory comes with it.

Do I need a paid ChatGPT or Claude plan?

Connecting outside services differs by tool and by plan. Check your tool's page under supported tools.

What if something wrong gets saved?

Open your memory and correct it. The correction is saved as a new version and the old one stays available.
