Works with the AI tools you already use
Memory Bridge works with the AI tools you already use: ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Cursor, Claude Code, Codex and more. One AI memory across all of them.
Guide
From each tool's settings: Plugins in ChatGPT, Connectors in Claude. Pick the app, sign in to your account there, and approve the access it asks for.
OpenAI calls these connected apps; Anthropic calls them connectors. Either way, the AI tool reads from your account in that app and acts there with the permissions you granted.

In ChatGPT settings, choose Plugins, then the app or the plugin that includes it. Very old versions of the mobile app show Apps instead.
Select Install plugin if it appears, then Connect, and sign in to the account that holds your information.
Read what the app asks for before you approve. Later you can choose when ChatGPT asks first before reading or acting, from Always ask to broader options.
Type @ and the app's name, or pick it from the + menu, then ask: "Find my project brief in Google Drive and summarize the next steps."
Checked in October 2026 against the official help page: Connected apps in ChatGPT. Menu names change, so check there if an option is not where we say.
From the + menu in a chat, choose Connectors, then Manage connectors. Or go to Customize, then Connectors, and select + next to Connectors.
Read its description and what it can read and write, then choose Connect or Install.
Follow the sign-in prompts for your account in that app, and adjust its settings if needed.
Claude brings a connected app into the chat when it fits your request, or you turn it on from the + menu under Connectors. With Linear, for example: "Create a new issue for the login bug."
Checked in October 2026 against the official help page: Use connectors to extend Claude’s capabilities. Menu names change, so check there if an option is not where we say.
| ChatGPT | Claude | |
|---|---|---|
| Where in settings | Plugins (connected apps) | Customize, then Connectors |
| Examples on the help pages | Google Drive, Slack, Gmail, Canva | Google Drive, Slack, Linear, Microsoft 365 |
| An app that is not listed | In Business, Enterprise and Edu workspaces, admins add it through developer mode; on other plans, check what yours allows | Add it as a custom connector with its URL; the free plan allows one |
| Work accounts | Admins control which apps are available | An owner enables the connector, then each member signs in |
| Your data | Each app's own terms and privacy policy apply to what it receives | The connected service processes data on its own systems, under its own terms |
Reviewed in October 2026. Availability varies by plan, country and account type.
App lists vary by plan, country and account type, and none of them covers everything. Check the app's own website for a ChatGPT or Claude integration; some companies publish their connector and the link to add it.
If what you need is a file, such as an Excel sheet, upload it to the chat, or connect the storage service it lives in, such as Google Drive.
In Claude you can add a custom connector when a company gives you its URL: Customize, Connectors, Add, Custom. Enter a name and the URL, then choose how people sign in.
Only what your account can see. Anthropic says Claude inherits your permissions in the connected service, so it cannot reach what you cannot. OpenAI says app permission settings decide when ChatGPT asks before using the access you already granted.
With memory on, ChatGPT may remember what it read from an app, and an app may use your memories to tailor a request. Disconnecting an app stops future access; it does not delete past chats that used its data.
Memory Bridge is a memory connector. You add it in ChatGPT and Claude settings, and both read from and write to the same notes about your work. What you save while working in ChatGPT is there when you open Claude.
Every tool you connect reaches all your projects, including ones you create later, and can read and write in them. You can disconnect any tool at any time under Connected apps in your Memory Bridge settings. The steps for each tool are on the ChatGPT and Claude pages.
Yes. Canva is one of the examples OpenAI gives for connected apps. Add it under Plugins, then ask for a design in the chat.
If it has a connector. Search the connectors directory in Claude, and if it is not there, ask the company for a custom connector URL you can add yourself.
Some apps support actions such as creating or updating items, and ChatGPT may ask for your approval first. Check each app's permissions before allowing all actions.
No. It keeps what you ask it to save while you work and what you import from your conversations. It does not reach into your email or files in other apps.
Memory Bridge works with the AI tools you already use: ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Cursor, Claude Code, Codex and more. One AI memory across all of them.
Connect your tool, tell Memory Bridge about your work, then carry on. How your context is saved and how it comes back in every new chat and every tool.
Four ways to share context between ChatGPT and Claude, or any AI tools: copy and paste, a context file, memory import, and a shared memory. Where each one stops.
